We are recruiting a new Programme Manager to help us expand and develop our Building self-belief programme. This is an exciting time to join our young charity and to be part of its planned growth.
TCWF (The Colour Works Foundation) was formed to help 15–30-year-olds who have not yet had the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
This young, local charity is already changing lives. Partnering with local organisations, TCWF runs workshops to equip disadvantaged and socially excluded young people with the tools to build their emotional intelligence, confidence and resilience.
By building their self-belief, through a colour personality profiling tool, participants develop strong interpersonal and communication skills so they can make better life choices for themselves.
Role Outline:
We are looking for a Programme Manager to help us grow our partnerships with schools, colleges and youth organisations across Dorset. The person will also be trained to deliver our Building self-belief course, enabling us to meet the growing demand for our services.
Preferably with a youth work qualification, this person will have experience of working with young people and be able to demonstrate their passion for supporting young people who are struggling with their purpose and direction in life.
Salary and Remuneration
£15,600 part time (3 days per week)
Reasonable travel expenses are included in line with HMRC guidelines.

Office based at TCWF Office in West Howe
Contract
Fixed Term for 1 year (but with a view to obtaining funding to continue ongoing)
Skills and experience
This person will have had experience of working with disadvantaged young people and/or adults. They will preferably hold a qualification in youth work or able to demonstrate significant youth work experience.
They will be able to intepret evidence-based evaluation to support demonstration of course effectiveness.
With good communication skills they will have be able to adapt sensitively to a diverse range of audiences and contexts.
They will need to demonstrate their ability to manage teams and projects to deliver on agreed outcomes.
In addition to the above we are also looking for someone who:
- Has excellent writing skills and the ability to produce reports and information in a variety of forms for different purposes.
- Highly ICT literate, notably with Microsoft Office software, and confident in using video conferencing with Teams and Zoom.
- Great project management skills and an ability to design and structure work programmes to ensure they are delivered.
- Familiarity with partnership working.
- Creative in developing solutions to problems.
- Familiar with marketing and communications techniques and approaches.
